Faye Davis Hutchinson

Funeral services for Faye Davis Hutchinson, 84, will be held Friday, October 14 at Tuckers Grove Holiness Church at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Jimmy Smith, Bro. Stanley Mills, and Daniel Rudd officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 A.M until 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Nazarene Church Cemetery. She passed away Tuesday, October 11, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Hutchinson was born on March 1, 1938, in Laurens County to the late Julius Sutton and Alma Tanner Sutton. She was preceded in death by her late husband, James Ray Davis, three brothers, Earl, Grable, and Roy Sutton, grandson, Matt Carter and daughter-in-law, Gwen Sweat Carter.

After 30 plus years with Apparel Brand and Crown Tex she kept the community children, as well as her grandchildren in her home. Later she began working with the Johnson County Elementary Food Service where she was known by the kids as "MaMa Faye".

Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of Tuckers Grove Holiness Church and enjoyed sending birthday cards to everyone.

Survivors include her husband Russell Hutchinson of 10 years, four sons, Ronnie Carter, Donnie (Lynn) Carter, Danny (Tricia) Carter, Randy Carter (Evelyn Ikner), stepchildren, Sean Hutchinson and Lisa Hutchinson, grandchildren, Jennifer Blythe, Ron Carter, Krystal Tanner, Kasey Carter, Kelli Johnson, Mandy Rudd, Alicia McCoy, Dustin Carter and 18 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Damon Blythe, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Carter, Ron Carter, Dustin Carter, and Peyton Hood.

The family will be at Donnie and Lynn Carter's home at 4393 Tuckers Grove Church Road, Wrightsville, Georgia.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
