Ferrell Wynn

Funeral services for Mr. Ferrell Wynn, age 70, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Blue Springs Baptist Church, Rockledge, Georgia with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ben Edwards will officiate. Mr. Wynn was born January 16, 1948 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Robbie & Hazel Thigpen Wynn. He was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Forstman & Company and the Sandersville Regional Youth Detention Center. Mr. Wynn passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 following an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Wynn of Rockledge, a daughter, Sharon (Jamie) Mills of Rockledge, three grandchildren, Kate Mills, Trey Mills and Payne Mills, a sister, Nadine Wynn (Gene) Simonds, a brother-in-law, Jerry Stevens and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Danny Shepherd, Gerald Thigpen, Darrell Thigpen, Wendell Thigpen, Brandon McLean and Nicholas Dixon. The family would like to thank Serenity Place for all of their care and concern during Ferrell's illness. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
