Frances Stone Harwell

Graveside services for Sarah Frances Stone Harwell, 88, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating.

Mrs. Harwell was born on January 26, 1935. She worked as a secretary for the Dublin City School system and was a member of First Baptist Church of Dublin. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lucy Mae McWhorter Stone; and her son, Chuck Harwell. Mrs. Harwell passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Piedmont Coliseum Hospital.

Mrs. Harwell is survived by her husband, Raymond Harwell of Dublin; daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Corbin of Dublin; daughter-in-law, Robin Harwell; sister-in-law, Evelyn Collier; grandchildren, Corey (Jade) Harwell and Caleb (Jenny) Harwell of Atlanta, Sarah (Michael) Edge of East Dublin, and C. J. (Samantha) Corbin of Dublin; and great grandchildren, Olivia Edge, Harper Corbin, Bennett Edge and Luca Jade Harwell.

Pallbearers will be Corey Harwell, Caleb Harwell, C.J. Corbin and Michael Edge.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Harwell to The Gideons International at P.O. Box 27, Dublin, Georgia 31040 or to the Chuck Harwell Scholarship c/o Community Bank of Dublin-Laurens County, 605 Bellevue Ave., Dublin, Georgia 31021.
