Frances Smith Johnson

Funeral services for Frances Smith Johnson, age 98 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Joe Daniel will officiate.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 11, 1927, in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Homer Smith and Alice Lorene Hatchett Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sydney Lee Johnson and a sister, Lois Hintermier. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was a member of Mable White Baptist Church in Macon for many years where she taught Sunday School, and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Jones County. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Johnson passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, in Haddock, Georgia.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her 3 daughters, Cynthia Johnson Westlind of Glendive, Montana, Sylvia Johnson Bullman of Haddock, and Lois Loraine Fowler of Milledgeville; 5 grandchildren, Danna Westlind Briggs, Samuel Westlind, David L. Bullman, Andrew Bullman, Lorie Ledford; 4 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Dakota, Aaron and Alanna; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Austin, Skyler, Sawyer, and Alana.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the funeral home.
