Frances Kyzer Watson of the Brewton community, passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Frances and her husband, Judson, owned a family farm in the Brewton community for more than 65 years. Here, they grew beautiful cows, bountiful crops, and rambunctious children. Frances worked many years at Dublin Garment Factory and East Dublin Pharmacy. She retired from Easter Seals, where she was affectionately known to her clients as "Mrs. Frank."
Frances was the baby of sixteen children born to Robert Hampton and Viola Kyzer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Judson, her parents, and her siblings.
She is survived by her two children: Eddie Watson (Sandra) of Warner Robins and Sandra Watson Barwick (Sonny) of Brewton; two grandchildren: Jennifer Ryan (Paul) of Newnan and Heather Barwick (Brian Evans) of Brewton; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper Ryan and Ava Evans.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Tanner and Rev. Barbara Nelson officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the cemetery.
