Franklin Crabb

Funeral services for Franklin Crabb, age 83, will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, December 30, 2023, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall and Rev. Chip Bodie will officiate.

Mr. Crabb was born on June 21, 1940, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Lillie Ree Edenfield Crabb, by his son, Timothy Franklin Crabb, and a grandson, Timothy Justin Williams. He was a retired from J. P. Stevens and Company. He was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Crabb passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Crabb of Wrightsville, daughter, Patty (George) East of Dublin, son, Shannon (Laura) Crabb of Royston, brother, Freddie (Agatha) Crabb of Wrightsville, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Hall, Hugh Veal, Bruce Veal, Robert Veal, Ralph Veal, and Landon Martin.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
