Franklin Paul Laporta

Mr. Franklin Paul LaPorta, age 77, passed away Friday, April 06, 2018 at Serenity Place. Mr. LaPorta was born April 13, 1940 in Manhattan, New York. He was the son of the late Mario and Victoria Lando LaPorta. He was a retired Principal for the Leon County School System in Tallahassee, FL. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hobbies such as golfing, fishing, hunting, and farming. Mr. LaPorta is survived by his loving wife, Loretta LaPorta of Dublin, a son, Michael (Bonnie) LaPorta of Plano, TX, a daughter, Victoria (John) Dykes of Dublin, a sister, Gioia LaPorta of Orlando, FL, and a grandchild, Garrett (Nichole) Cannon. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/ Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
