Freddie James Durden

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Freddie James Durden, age 52, will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Thigpen Cemetery in Rockledge, Georgia. Mr. Durden was born October 13, 1962 in Dublin, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Bloys Jasper Durden and Ruth Daniels Durden. He was lifelong resident of Laurens County and was employed with Mike Taylor Construction as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Durden passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael James and Donja Durden of Rockledge, a brother, Kenny Durden of Moultrie, a sister, Sandy Butler of East Dublin and two grandchildren, Peighton Michelle Durden and Aiden Michael Durden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday August 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
