Freida Mcdougal Lavender

Graveside funeral services for Freida McDougal Lavender, age 76, will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon. Rev. Tyler Daniel will officiate. Mrs. Lavender was born July 23, 1945, in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Beulah Mae Duke McDougal. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lavender. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. She was a retired Drafting Clerk for Bellsouth. Mrs. Lavender passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Lavender is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Richard) Bassett of Dublin, a son, Keith (Kim) Evans of Brunswick, a sister, Rebecca McDougal Stuart of Fernandina, FL, 3 grandchildren, Allen, Matthew, and Brandon, and 4 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers and meals please donate in memory of Mrs. Lavender to a food pantry of your choice. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
