G. Wayne Harrison

Graveside memorial services with Masonic Rites for G. Wayne Harrison, age 80, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Gerald Frazier will officiate.

Mr. Harrison was born on December 23, 1943, in Lyons, Georgia and served in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Laurens Lodge #75 where he also served as the Past Master. He was a retired electrical supervisor at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and a member of the Dudley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mattie Kate Ganey Harrison, sisters, Glenda Carol Harrison, Phyllis Toole and Clara Faye Lewis, and grandson, Dylan McCauley Harrison. Mr. Harrison passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon.

Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Audrey Drake Harrison of Dudley, two sons, Jeff Harrison (Kathy) of Dudley and Joel Harrison (Sandi) of Rentz, sister, Wilma Lee Harrell of Vidalia, grandchildren, David Harrison (Kayla) and Heather Harrison, and great grandchildren, Walker Drake Harrison, Jace Dylan Harrison and Brody Cash Harrison.
