Gary Eugene Brown

Funeral services for Gary Eugene Brown, 80, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 9, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Minter Cemetery. Rev. Scott Rogers will officiate.

Mr. Brown was born on February 17, 1942, in Wisner, Louisiana to Elmer and Jessie Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired truck driver for R & H Trucking. He enjoyed watching football and was an LSU Tiger Fan. Mr. Brown passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, June E. Chalker Brown of East Dublin, son, Gene Brown of Sandersville, and stepchildren, Joe Francis and Billy (Casey Giles) Francis of Dublin, and Carolyn (Paul) Hines of Sandersville, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Dakota Silvers, Tazz Francis, Noah Francis, Peyton Francis, Nick Baggett, friend, Steve Henson and Paul Hines.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
