Gene Mullis

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Gene Mullis, 89, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Northview Cemetery with Rev. Grady Mimbs officiating. Mr. Mullis was born on August 20, 1931 in Plainfield, Georgia. He was a United States Army veteran and member and deacon of First Baptist Church. He worked for Swift and Company as a regional sales rep. for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Leone Mullis, and his wife, June Kennedy Mullis. Mr. Mullis passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Gateway Gardens in Winder, Georgia. Mr. Mullis is survived by his son, Ken (Janie) Mullis of Auburn, a daughter, Debra (Scott) Throckmorton of Littleton, CO, sister, Madeline Adams of Macon, and grandchildren, Bryan Mullis, Eric Mullis, Patrick Mullis, Danielle Wasser, and Brittany Krieger, and 7 great-grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
