George Eugene Tucker

A Celebration of Life for George Eugene Tucker, age 73, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Oaky Grove Church with Dr. Tom Akins and Pastor Harry Hadden officiating. Mr. Tucker was born on February 7, 1948 in Tampa, Florida. Gene was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a former supervisor with Cargill Inc in Frostproof, FL and has lived in Wrightsville since 2006. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Oaky Grove Church. Gene passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dimple Tucker, and his son, Kevin Jason Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Connie Tucker, his brother, Danny Tucker (Sandy), and his sister, Diane Emery (Doug). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Pruitt Hospice, 667 S. Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401 or Oaky Grove Church, 54 Oaky Grove Church Rd, Wrightsville, GA 31096. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
