Graveside funeral services for Georgia Jean Drake, 80, will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 15, 2023, in Poplar Springs South Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Drake was born on May 23, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a retired nurse and worked many years at Southland Nursing and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sudrick and Virginia Spitz and her husband, George Drake. Ms. Drake passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at her residence.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Harvey of Dublin and Kathy Kurth of Michigan; three sons, Jeff Spurlin of Colorado, Ron Drake of Florida, and William Drake of Georgia; a brother, Wayne Sudrick of Arizona, sister, Sharon Foster of Atlanta, 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
