Gloria Kathleen Blount

Mrs. Gloria Kathleen Nelson Blount, age 69 passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Mrs. Blount was born on October 15, 1946 in Gordon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mae Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Jimmie Blount, and by her son, Jason Brinson Blount. She has lived in Laurens County for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Blount is survived by her 2 sons, Marcus Jimmy Blount of Macon, and Eric Lee Blount of Bonaire, a daughter, Shelia Catherine Blount Parks of Dexter, 2 sisters Evelyn and Eunice, 16 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
