Glynda Crawford Smith

Glynda Crawford Smith, age 73, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Fairview Park Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the Dublin First Methodist Church. A private family burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Thompson will officiate.

Mrs. Smith was born on February 25, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida. She worked for Middle Georgia Urology as an ultrasound technician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Smith, father, Lawrence Crawford and brother, Larry Crawford.

She is survived by her mother, Brunell Thompson Lackey, children, David (Denise) Dixon of Brunswick, Justin (Michawne) Clark of Suwanee, Megan (Freeman) Shepard of Dublin, Celena (Jimmy) Egan of Savannah, and Trevor (Brooks) Smith of Greenville, SC, sister, Denise (Dennis) Dobbins; sister-in-law, Sandra Crawford and grandchildren, Kevin (Brittany) Dixon, Ashton (Tori) Dixon, Logan Dixon, Lawson Dixon, Lucas Clark, Micah Clark, Sophie Shepard and Ruby Shepard; and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Thursday at the church prior to the service.
