Glynn Johnson

Donny Glynn Johnson age 72, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30th at New Haven Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Loyd officiating.

Mr. Johnson was born in Washington County, Georgia on October 8, 1952, to the late David Johnson and Iva Lee Kersey Johnson. He had made his home in Gordon for the past 32 years. He worked as a Lathe Operator with Lapp Insulators until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his son Wade Thompson, four brothers Ronald Johnson, Michael Johnson, Richard Johnson and Hubert Johnson.

Survivors include his wife Vickie Sanders Johnson of Gordon, a brother Gary Johnson of Wrightsville, three sisters Geraldine Johnson McCullough of Stockbridge, Jackie Johnson Vallin and Janice Johnson Lumley both of Dublin, a sister-in-law Martha Sanders, special nephew, Jeff Sanders, special persons Dawn Beck (Johnny), Mason Sanders, Ashley and Jeremy Pitts, Cash and Hollyn Pitts, all of Gordon. Glynn's girlfriend/niece Connie Sanders Sigmon (Justin) of Kathleen and many nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at Couey Reece Stanley Funeral Home.
