Grace Viola Chalker

Graveside funeral services for Grace Viola Chalker, age 98 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mrs. Chalker was born December 9, 1919 in Meriwether, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Ira Dunham and Claira Tucker Dunham. She was also preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Raymond Otis Dye and Cleo Chalker, a daughter, Lillian Middleton, a sister, Estell Whitehead, and a grandchild, Steve Chalker. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Chalker passed away Friday, November 09, 2018 at Gibson Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Chalker is survived by her son, Roger Dale (Ann) Dye of Forsyth, a daughter, Mary Opal (Charles) Chalker of Swainsboro, 9 grandchildren, David Anthony Dye, Angela Johnson, John Martin, Debrah Carlisle, Johnny Chalker, Billy Chalker, Cathy Rudker, Andy Middleton, and Kenny Middleton, and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
