Grayson Lenword "Lynn" Mcdaniel, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Grayson Lenword "Lynn" McDaniel, Jr., age 62 will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Brewton Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Brewton Cemetery. Rev. Allen Wiggins and Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate. Mr. McDaniel was born on February 29, 1952 in Macon, Georgia. He was the son of the late Grayson Lenword McDaniel, Sr. and Hazel Wilson McDaniel. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Ora and Algie Wilson of Macon, and Agnes and Felton McDaniel, Sr. of Dexter. He was employed as the Service Advisor for Dublin Ford. He served in the United States Army Reserves #988. He worked at Pepsi for 26 years. He was the owner of G-Mac Trucking. He attended Brewton Baptist Church. Mr. McDaniel passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Serenity Place. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sandra Soles McDaniel of East Dublin, a son, Cale McDaniel of East Dublin, a daughter, Kelli Michelle McDaniel of East Dublin, a brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Teresa McDaniel of East Dublin, 3 grandchildren, Logan McDaniel of East Dublin, Katelyn Luecke of East Dublin, and Caden Luecke of East Dublin, a sister-in-law, Pat( James) Harden of Athens, and a brother-in-law, Ray (Glynis) Soles of East Dublin, 3 nieces, Hollie McDaniel of East Dublin, LaRae (Walt) Tyler of East Dublin, Adrianne (Neil) Glezen of Denton, NC, 2 nephews, Rodney (Mandi) Soles of East Dublin, and Chris (Tracie) Harden of Watkinsville. Pallbearers will be Rodney Soles, Walt Tyler, Neil Glezen, Chris Harden, Keith Alligood, Shorty Shepard, Donnie Mullis, and Aaron McDaniel. Honorary Escort will be the Dublin Ford Employees, Butch Clay, Jerry Mimbs, Tommy Clay, Len Tanner, Rex Giles, James Stinson, and Frankie Braswell. The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
