Hal K. Blount

Graveside funeral services for Hal K. Blount, age 59 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Westview Cemetery. Father Stephen J. Pontzer will officiate. Mr. Blount was born on January 8, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the son of the late Paul Kenneth and Vivian Barton Blount. He was employed as a high voltage electrician and Contract Surveillance Rep. for the Marine Core Logistics Base in Albany, GA for 20 years. Mr. Blount passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Dublinair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by his son Thomas "Ken" Blount of Pensacola, FL; two daughters, Haley Trager of Jacksonville, FL and Anna Hartley of Jacksonville, FL; two grandchildren, Kyle and Camryn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
