Harry Earl Tapley

Funeral services for Harry Earl Tapley, age 75, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2022 in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home. Dr. Curtis Lysaker will officiate. A private burial will take place in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Mr. Tapley was born in Callahan, Florida on October 17, 1946. He served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam and retired with 20 plus years' service. He was resident of Johnson County for 38 years, formerly of Twentynine Palms, California, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Margaret Skipper Tapley, a son Harry Tapley, Jr., and his sister Patricia. Mr. Tapley passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. He is survived by his wife Susan Tapley, six daughters, Patricia Michelle "Missi" Gebhart, Eva Norris, Robin Kriner, Betty Lou Trzeciak, Carol Bradford and Debra Addington, stepmother Linda Tapley, sister Elizabeth "Liz" Tapley, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
