Harvey Franklin Blizzard

Harvey Franklin Blizzard, age 80, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Dream Catchers Senior Care Community in Jackson, Georgia. Mr. Blizzard was born on August 21, 1940 in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late William "Buck" and Annie Frances Blizzard. While his working days ended as a retired truck driver, Franklin also had many working adventures under his belt. In his free time, he loved to tinker with anything mechanical and truly enjoyed his time singing in the Church Choir. He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Rose Blizzard. Mr. Blizzard is survived by his brother, William Robert of Eatonton, his sons, William Blizzard of McDonough and Dave Slee of Heath, Tx and his stepchildren Patrick, Michael, and Jan Bassaloff along with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Due to Covid 19, a memorial service will be planned in the future. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of arrangements.
