Helen Chalker Henderson

Graveside funeral services for Helen Chalker Henderson, age 80 will be held at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Atkinson will officiate.

Mrs. Henderson was born April 18, 1945, in Johnson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Cleo Chalker and Ida Mae Fulford Chalker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Henderson, Sr., and a brother-in-law, Lester Dickerson. She and her husband James were the owners of Helen Apartments. She was a member of the National Potters House Ministries. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Henderson passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her son, Thomas Henderson (Donna Whittier) of Dublin; a daughter, Marie Barbee (Claude) of Rentz; a brother, Cecil Chalker (Debbie) of East Dublin; a sister, Rosalyn Dickerson of Dublin; 7 grandchildren, Dusty Henderson (Tiffany) of Dublin, Devin Henderson (Harliee) of Dublin, Ashley Hines (Lance) of Rentz, Macy Brown (Ashlee) of Milledgeville, Abby Roth (Avery) of Peachtree City, Cody Barbee of Rentz, and Colton Barbee of Rentz; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way, Bentley Henderson, Bailey Henderson, Bo Henderson, Briggs Henderson, Conner White, Lexi Hines, and Baby Roth; and a close family friend and caregiver, Betty Barbee of Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Northview Cemetery.
