Henry L. Joiner

Funeral services for Henry Lester Joiner, will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Johnson County, With interment to follow in Andersonville National Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate. Mr. Joiner was born on July 16, 1939 in Waynesboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late, Louis Henry Joiner and Mary Broxton Larisey. He served in the United States Army as an Engineer. Mr. Joiner passed away February 14, 2015. Mr. Joiner is survived by his wife, Lawanna Evone Heath Joiner of Tennille, 2 sons, Marcus (Angela) Joiner of East Dublin and Lester Joiner of Dublin, 3 daughters, Cheryl (Dave) Halfhill of Tennille, Cynthia (Mike) Owings of Hazlehurst, and Sandy (David) Dulmage of Dublin, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening February 17, 2015 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at the church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
