Hilda McCoy

Private funeral services for Hilda Glen McCoy, age 90 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 14, 2026, at Westview Cemetery.

Mrs. McCoy was born February 1, 1936, in Waycross, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Edgar H. James and Alma Opal Purcell James. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Julian Talmadge McCoy. She was a retired schoolteacher for the Johnson County Board of Education. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. McCoy passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, at Dublinair Nursing Home and Rehab.

Mrs. McCoy is survived by her sons, Ricky (Betty) McCoy and Chuck McCoy; 2 daughters, Sheila Sutton and Kim Wyatt; a sister Betty Jane Lee; a sister-in-law, Pete McCoy; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Ricky and Betty McCoy at 488 Country Club Road, Dublin, GA 31021.
