Hubie Jim Horton

Hubie "Jim" Horton, age 73, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Serenity Place. Mr. Horton was born August 20, 1946 in Wrightsville, GA. Jim was a self-employed truck driver. He is preceded in death by parents Hubie James and Dora Bell Horton, his first wife Clara Agnes Logue Horton, second wife Charlotte Frances Kegg Horton and grandchild Josh McCall. Mr. Horton is survived by sons James (Kristin) Horton of Dublin and Mark (Debbie) McCall of Myakka City, FL, daughter Ginny Clayton of Virginia, brother Johnny (Mary) Horton of Samoset, FL, sisters Sue Moore of Nichols and Alice "June" Hilton of Inverness, FL, grandchildren Tegan Horton, Gatlin Horton, Collin Clayton Curtis Clayton, Shawn McCall, and Cathy Clayton, great grandchildren Whitney McCall, Joel McCall, Micah Clayton, Calvin Clayton, and Darian Clayton, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Place Hospice, 504 Parker Dairy Rd, Dublin, GA 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/ Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
