Huey "Sonny" Everett Smith

Funeral services for Mr. Huey "Sonny" Everett Smith, age 79 will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Adrian with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. L.T. Logue officiating. Sonny was born January 27, 1940 in Dublin, Georgia to parents Lonnie Ovid Smith and Addie Adel Garnto Smith. He was a United States Army veteran and worked as a self-employed equipment operator. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his three brothers Donald Smith, Monte Carlo Smith, and Roger Larry Smith. Sonny passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Memorial Health University Medical Center of Savannah. Sonny is survived by his brother Johnny Earl Smith and his wife Susan of Metter, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at the church prior to the service. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
