Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Thigpen Graham, age 78 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate.
Mrs. Graham was born on January 13, 1937 in Laurens County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Joe Graham and Myrtle Turner Arrington. She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward White, and 4 brothers, Ned White, Clyde White, Raymond White, and Herschel White. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was retired from the Dublin Courier Herald where she was a Paper Route Deliverer. Mrs. Graham passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Fairview Park Hospital.
Mrs. Graham is survived by her husband, Weyman Graham of Dublin, 2 sons, James (Cindy) Thigpen of Dublin, and Alan Joe Thigpen of Dublin, a daughter, Jacquelyn Ann Thigpen of Dublin, a brother, Fred (Peggy) White of Dry Branch, 4 sisters, Betty (Frank) Barbee of Dublin, Christine Williams of Lumber City, Alice Livingston of Cedar Grove, and Elaine (Sam) Dixon of Hazlehurst, 3 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2015 at the funeral home.
