Jackie Bryant Rawls

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jackie Bryant Rawls, age 80, will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2019 in Northview Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Hutto and Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Mr. Rawls passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Serenity Place. He was born September 12, 1939 in Dublin, to parents Otis Bryant and Gladys Tindol Rawls. He was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a United States Air Force veteran and worked as a lineman with BellSouth. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Eric Rawls. Mr. Rawls is survived by his wife Sally Green Rawls, sons Barry Bryant (Elaine) Rawls and Franklin Bryant Rawls, daughter Cynthia Rawls, daughter in law Tonya Conley Rawls, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Rawls residence, 566 Country Club Road, Dublin, GA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia, 5156 River Road, Columbus, GA 31904 or to Gideons International, PO Box 27, Dublin, GA 31040 for the purchase of Bibles. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
