James Carl Garnto

Funeral services for Mr. James Carl Garnto, age 92, will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate. Mr. Garnto was born July 3, 1927 in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Ellie Garnto and his wife Jean Moye Garnto. Mr. Garnto passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020. He is survived by his two sons, Stan (Brenda) Garnto and Scotty Garnto all of Wrightsville, his daughter, Melanie (Mike) Cobb of Milledgeville, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rob Garnto, Cory Parker, Wes Cobb, Ronnie Smith, Nicky Benton and Joey Rowland. Honorary pallbearers will be former Life of Georgia employees. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
