James Herbert Hall

Funeral services for James Herbert Hall, age 84, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate.

Mr. Hall was born on February 21, 1941, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was a retired salesman for Flanders Auto. He was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Manning and Bessie Hadden Hall; wife, Grace Virginia Davis Hall; sisters, Sara Oliver and Margie Cranford; and brothers, W.M. Hall, Lanier Hall, Shorty Hall and Wiliam Hall. Mr. Hall passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Mitzi) Hall of Wrightsville; grandson, Clay (Krista) Hall of Wrightsville; 5 great grandchildren, Trae Hall, Blake Glenn, Charlie Hall, Avery Roberson and Grey Hall; 3 sisters, Carlene Smith of Wrightsville, Betty (Jimmy) Pitts of Dublin, Linda Strickland (Rondie) Warren of Dudley; and a brother, Bobby (Debra) Hall of Wrightsville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Oliver, Brad Hall, Calvin Sturgis, Greg Smith, Keith Pitts, and Ryan Strickland.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
