James Mitchell Hatten

James Mitchell Hatten, age 83 of Dublin, Ga passed from this life on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Mr. Hatten was preceded in death by his father, James Mitchell Hatten in 1937 and his mother Vertie Lee Lake Hatten in 1972. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Glenn Kersey Hatten, daughter Teresa Hatten Young, MD (Dan) of Dublin, Mary Hatten Rowell (Steve) of Lake Mary, FL, Jamie Hatten Akin (David) of Blackshear, Ga, and Katheryn Margaret Robbins (Anthony) of McRae, Ga. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Blackville Church of God, Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. Mr. Hatten had requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Cremation services will be provided by Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
