James Terry Howell

Funeral services for James Terry Howell, age 67 will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Jimmy Cordy will officiate. Mr. Howell was born on September 7, 1949 in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Ayward and Hauline Gay Howell. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was a retired courier for Federal Express, and also a former Police Officer for the City of Dublin. Mr. Howell passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Medical Center of Navicent Health. Mr. Howell is survived by his wife, Judy Jenkins Howell of Byron, a daughter, Juliane Tarie (Carl) Lanier of Ludowici, 3 grandchildren, Katelyn Lanier, J.C. Lanier, and Chloe Lanier all of Ludowici, a sister-in-law, Connie Jenkins Evans of Dublin, a niece, Courtney Maddox of Dublin, a nephew, Derek (Christi) Evans of Dexter, 3 great nieces, Carley Maddox, Cuyler Maddox, and Cayla Maddox all of Dublin, and 3 great nephews, Logan Evans, Grant Evans, and Cody Evans all of Dexter. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
