James "Jim" Scranton Corbin

Graveside services for James "Jim" Scranton Corbin, 81, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate.

Mr. Corbin was born on December 6, 1940, in Fernandina Beach, Florida. He was a Mason and a former member of the Al Sihah Shriner's of Macon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lola McCorkle Corbin and his wife Elizabeth Neal Corbin. Mr. Corbin passed away Friday, December 2, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He is survived by his two sons, Kevin (Cindy) Corbin of Dublin and Keith (Stacy) Corbin of Springfield, grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Edge, C.J. (Samantha) Corbin, Katie (Nick) Lewis, Jackson (Tyson) Corbin, Marybeth (Cameron) Fisher and Callie Corbin, and great grandchildren, Bennett Edge, Olivia Edge, Harper Corbin, Lennon Lewis, Liam Lewis, Locklan Lewis, and Hardy Corbin.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
