James Bruce Jordan Jr.

James Bruce Jordan Jr., age 85, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, April 10, 2020. He passed away at his residence. Mr. Jordan was born in Augusta, Ga on August 1, 1934. He was a graduate of Richmond Academy and the University of Georgia. He was a retiree of Georgia Power Co. He was preceded in death by his parents James Bruce Jordan Sr., his mother Marguerite Stringer Jordan, and his daughter Janet DeNita Jordan. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife Venita Martin Jordan, a son James Bruce (Debbie) Jordan III, a daughter Cathy Diane (Lee) Smith, grandsons James Brian Jordan and Jordan Dean, and granddaughters Heather Smith and Caylee Smith. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Jordan to a charity of your choice. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of arrangements.
