James Morris West

Funeral services for Mr. James Morris West, age 55, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkinson, County. Rev. Curtis Vincent will officiate Mr. West was born January 3, 1961 in Macon, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late James O. & Ruthie Dean West. He was a veteran of United States Navy having served during many Middle East battles. He was self employed by Paladin Properties and was a member of Red Hill Masonic Lodge #535. He was also a member of Lighthouse Church of God. Mr. West passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Fairview Park Hospital. He is survived by his daughter, Katie DeMasi of Boston, MA, a brother, Darrell West of Glenwood, a sister, Lou Jan (Wayne) Scott of Riverview, FL, two grandchildren, three step-brothers, Phillip White of East Dublin, Michael White of The Woodlands, TX and Sandra Paul of East Dublin, his former wife, Tina West and two step-sons, Jason and Mark West all of California The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45, Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
