Monday, July 3, 2017 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mike Peacock will officiate. Mr. Pope was born on October 30, 1956 in Paris, France. He has lived in Laurens County his whole life. He was a manager for Friendly Gus Food Stores. Mr. Pope passed away on Saturday, July 01, 2017 at Serenity Place. Mr. Pope is survived by his parents, Jimmie Neal and Loretta Brown Pope of Dublin, 4 sons, Adam Neal Pope of Dublin, Zachariah Ebo Dylan Pope of Dublin, Jacob Wells of Bonaire, and Joseph Wells of Lafayette, Louisiana, 3 daughters, Amber Pope Loyd of Dublin, Summer Nicole Pope of Dublin, and Naomi Lea Pope of Dublin, a sister, Stephanie Pope Whittle of Fort Worth, Texas, a fiancee , Angel NeSmith of Dublin and 11 grandchildren. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
