James William Sigmon, Sr.

Funeral services for James William Sigmon, age 66 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ. Rev. Herman Powell and Mr. Willie Pierce will officiate. Mr. Sigmon was born on June 16, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the son of the late Paule Jackson and Violet Pritchard Sigmon. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Lou Small Sigmon. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ. Mr. Sigmon passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Candler County Hospital. Mr. Sigmon is survived by his son, James William Sigmon, Jr. of Norristown, 2 daughters, Tammy S. Smith of Rentz, and Sara Dennis of Adrian, a brother, Johnny Sigmon of East Dublin, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Willie Pierce, Rocky Dennis, Mike Anderson, James Sigmon, Jr., Johnny Brian Chalker, and Allen Michael Smith. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
