James Donald Vanlandingham

James Donald Vanlandingham, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Vanlandingham was born on March 30, 1936, in Wrightsville, Georgia, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a United States Army veteran, member of the Wrightsville First United Methodist Church and was a retired banker with the Bank of Wrightsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late John Edward and Grace Hattaway Vanlandingham, a brother, John Edward Vanlandingham and his son, David Clay Vanlandingham.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Chester Vanlandingham; 2 sons, James Donald Vanlandingham, Jr., and Jeffrey Scot Vanlandingham; and 5 grandchildren, Gage, Sydni, Kale, Mikayla, and Grace.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
