Jason Brett

Funeral services for Randy Jason Brett, age 48, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Homes and Crematory with Rev. Andy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.

Mr. Brett was born on September 20, 1978, in Augusta, Georgia. He was a retired machine operator with Theile Kaolin and worked as a hunting guide for Woods-N-Waters. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Georgia Bulldogs fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randy G. Brett and Vicki Dunn Brett; paternal grandparents, Otis Rountree Brett and Mary Francis Brett; maternal grandparents, Clarence Jones (CJ) Dunn and Sara Agnes Dunn; mother-in-law, Elaine Wilson; and his special dog, Bobo. Mr. Brett passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Holly Williamson Brett; son, Chan Sumner (Jessica); daughter, Kayden Sumner (Chris); sister, Jennifer Brett Thigpen (Jonathan), nieces, Makayla Thigpen, Alaina Thigpen, and Shanna Grace Thigpen; brother-in-law, Lee Williamson (Ashlyn); sisters-in-law, Shelby Carter (Franklin) and Ashley Harrison (Justin); father-in-law, Raymond Wilson; grandchildren, Lilly Sumner and Lane Sumner; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 P.M. to 2:45 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will be meeting at the residence of Mr. Brett at 186 Union Hill Church Road, Wrightsville, GA 31096.

Pallbearers will be Benji Bryan, Robert Dunn, Travis Wilson, Garyth Everett, Alan Peeler and Brian Vickery.

Stanley Funeral Homes and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
