Jeanette Evans Hooks

Funeral services for Jeanette Hooks, age 82 will be held 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday January 20, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. William Sweat and Rev. Keith Evans will officiate. Mrs. Hooks was born on December 3, 1932 in Laurens County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late David and Eta Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hooks, and a daughter, Sandra Buchanan. Mrs. Hooks was a member of Minter Baptist Church. She was also a retired Sales Clerk for Rite Aid Drug Company. Mrs. Hooks passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Hooks is survived by her son, Jeff Hooks of East Dublin, 2 grandchildren, Jay (Jamie) Hooks of East Dublin, and Cherry (Josh Nettle) Hooks of East Dublin, and 1 great grandchild, Ralie Conley. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral home and Crematory /Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
