Jeanette Collins Lazenby

Graveside funeral services for Jeanette Collins Lazenby, age 83 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Scotty Herndon will officiate.

Mrs. Lazenby was born July 25, 1940, in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Willie Green and Mary Jane Parrish Green. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James W. Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lighthouse Church of God. An avid TV watcher, she enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, and fishing. Mrs. Lazenby passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, in her home.

Mrs. Lazenby is survived by her husband, Wayne Lazenby, son, Larry Lee (Robin) Johnson, Sr., a brother, Ray Green, 2 sisters, Willie May (Cleve Lee) Newsome, and Margaret Lyman, 2 grandchildren, Lee (Ashlee) Johnson, and Robbie Johnson, 3 great-grandchildren, Liam Johnson, Finn Johnson, and Rilah Johnson, 1 niece and several nephews.
