Jerome Michael Fest

Ret. First Sergeant Jerome Michael Fest, age 87 of Heron Lake, Minnesota, passed away on October 13, 2016 in Dublin, Georgia after a long battle with cancer. Jerome retired from the Army in 1971, after 20 years of committed service. He was a veteran of the Korean War and completed two tours in Vietnam, earning two Bronze Star Medals. He was married to Jean Fest for 49 years and joined her in heaven. He is survived by his daughter, Ret. TSgt Steffin Fest, son, Paul Darrell Fest, and granddaughters: CPT Safrona Osbeck, Regina Hancock, and Anna Fest. Graveside funeral services for Ret. First Sergeant Fest will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Mitchell, AL. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
