Jerry Edmond Hightower II, 44 years of age, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 19, 2024.
The youngest of two children, Jerry was born in Dublin, GA, on July 18th, 1980, to Jerry Hightower, Sr. and Mary Ann Passmore Hightower where he lived majority of his life until he began his journey as a truck driver and eventually settled in Macon, GA a few years ago.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Passmore Hightower; paternal grandparents, J.D. Hightower, Sr. and Frances A. Linger Hightower; and maternal grandparents, J.B. Passmore, and Sybil and Thomas Lee.
Jerry is survived by his two young sons, Carter Rahn Hightower of Rentz and Hayden Hightower of Seattle, Washington; father, Jerry Hightower, Sr. (Debbie) of Cochran; sister, Tamara McWaters (Ronald) of Milledgeville; stepbrother, Larry Conner (Erin) of Richmond, Virgina; stepsister, Michelle Conner of Milledgeville; girlfriend, Nicole Dixon of Macon; nieces, Destiny Downard and Trinity Bettis; nephew, Daryl Bettis, Jr.; great nephew, Harley Greenway; great niece, Whitley Greenway; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 26th, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Bluewater Cemetery, Highway 441 S, Dublin, Georgia with Pastor Robbie Passmore officiating.
Pallbearers will be James Kersey, Tommy Bell, Daryl Bettis, Jr., Ronald McWaters, Jeffery Hightower and Reggie Hatcher. Honorary pallbearers will be the Cranford Family and Horizon South.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family's go-fund-me account to assist the family after the funeral.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
