Jerry Samuel Tyson

Funeral services for Jerry Samuel Tyson, age 40 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Tyson was born on July 4, 1974 in Carrollton, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Tyson. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Jennie Tyson. He was employed by Middle Georgia Machine. Mr. Tyson passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Tyson is survived by his mother, Susie Tyson of East Dublin, 3 children, Jerry Tyson, Jr., Corey Tyson, and Patience Tyson, 6 brothers, Dennis (Paula) Tyson, Eddie (Brenda) Tyson, Ray (Chris) Tyson, Jeffery (Lynn) Tyson, Whalain (Tonya) Tyson, and Gary Tyson, 3 sisters, Rachel (Kevin) Mullis, Tammie (Ricky) Smith, and Amanda (Fred) Mullis, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Tyson, Josh Tyson, Hunter Studdard, Joseph Carrier, Cameron Mullis, and Travis Register. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
