Jessie Magdalene Hawkins

Funeral services for Jessie Magdalene Hawkins, age 81 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Craig Foskey and Mr. John Wilder Page will officiate.

Mrs. Hawkins was born May 5, 1943, in Kite, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Cleon Minor "C.M." Norris and Lucy Bell Rogers Norris. She was a retired lunchroom worker at Johnson County High School. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, and was known to the children as Aunt Mag. She also served as the Treasurer of Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was also a member of Rehoboth Home Demonstration Club. Mrs. Hawkins passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mrs. Hawkins is survived by her husband, William M. "Mickey" Hawkins of Kite; a son Randell (Sandras Lewis) Hawkins of Kite; a daughter, Renee H. (Jeff) Decker of Kite, a brother, Sonny (Pat) Norris of Kite; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey (William) Todd and Justin (Blake) Hawkins; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson Hawkins and Lily Hawkins.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Norris, Josh Norris, John Wilder Page, David Flanders, David Way, and Burt Dixon.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Monday, March 24, 2025, at Rehoboth Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at 662 Midas Brantley Road, Kite, GA 31049.
