Jimmie Neal Pope

Graveside memorial services for Jimmie Neal Pope, age 86, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Dublin Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Pope was born March 2, 1936, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired postal worker. He was preceded in death by his parents A.T. and Louise Bush Pope; son, Neal Pope; and sister, Janet Hester. Mr. Pope passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his home.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Loretta Rochelle Brown Pope; son, Adam Pope; daughters, Stephanie Pope, Amber (Danny) Loyd, and Summer Pope; brother, Jerry (Faye) Pope; sisters, Nell Hilburn and Bonnie (Jim) McMullen; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
