Graveside services for Jimmy Butler, age 79, will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Harrison Jones and Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate.
Mr. Butler was born on February 8, 1943, in Dodge County. He was a farmer and was a member of the Farm Bureau Board of Directors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Inell Williams Butler and his brother, Billy Butler. Mr. Butler passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bracewell Butler of Cadwell; son, Tracy (Kristi) Butler of Cadwell; three daughters, Tammy (Dwayne) Gibson of Rentz, Holly (Rusty) Brown of Cadwell, and Jessica (Matt) Belflower of Cadwell; sister, Connie (Terry) Stinson; sister-in-law, Sandy Butler; grandchildren Robert Gibson, Cameron (Caitlyn) Gibson, Kaci and Grayson Butler, Ashlyn and Rylan Brown, Avory, Micah, Peyton and Everly Belflower, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brad Smith, Buddy Brewer, Billy Fountain, Richard Evans, Clayton Brewer, and Jackie Morton. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Purvis, Joe Burch, Terry Brown, LaRue Fountain, Val Smith, Edwin Avery, and Freddie Smith
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
