Joan R. Helton

Graveside funeral service for Joan R. Helton, age 74, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. Ms. Helton was born September 18, 1946, in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Don and Annie Price Riley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Herbert Helton. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. Ms. Helton passed away on June 30, 2021, at Serenity Place. Ms. Helton is survived by her step son, Jon Helton of Dublin, 2 grandchildren, Jenna Helton and Jake Helton, and special caregiver, Frankie Coates. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Ms. Helton to Dublin-Laurens County Humane Society at 618 Firetower Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
