Joann Wiggins Harris

Funeral services for JoAnn Wiggins Harris, age 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2020 at Powell's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Alan Heath, and Rev. David Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Harris was born on May 5, 1940 in Johnson County. She was a member of Powell's Chapel United Methodist Church. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Ruby Ivey Wiggins, and a brother, Larry Wiggins. Mrs. Harris was known to her family as "the best woman in the world". She passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2020 at her home. JoAnn will be missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Paul Harris of Kite, a son, Prentice (Brandi) Stamps of Chattanooga, TN, sister, Shirley Horne of Chattanooga, TN, and sister-in-law, Dianne Wiggins of Kite. Social Distancing guidelines will be in effect and mask will be required by those attending as we are following the guidelines of the local health district and the CDC. Those who are not feeling well are asked to stay home out of respect for the family. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
